Unflued gas heaters in NSW schools will be replaced

“The New South Wales Government has announced a plan to begin replacing unflued gas heaters for schools in the coldest parts of the state. Parents and campaigners have raised concerns that exposure to nitrogen dioxide and carbon monoxide from the heaters can cause health problems. The Government is yet to release an independent report it has commissioned into whether the heaters pose any health risks.”
