Dr Alison Bleaney is a well known activist in the area of public health and scientific studies of the effects of pesticides on water quality. Dr Alison Bleaney OBE has worked as a rural GP for the last 20 years in the St Helens community.
She is strongly committed to improving the environment in NE Tasmania, in particular the quality of it’s drinking water. Alison has assisted in the production of several publications on water quality and recently had a Letter to the Editor published in the International Journal of Environmental Studies.
